Real Estate Negotiations

Being involved with many real estate deals as a buyer, a seller and now a realtor, I can honestly say that there is no one true way to negotiate a real estate deal.  Why? Because every good negotiator understands that the opposing party often times carry hidden needs and wants to the table.  A seasoned negotiator digs deep into the motivation of the other side to understand what they really want before offering any position, if at all possible.  Therefore, if you are looking to hire a good real estate agent, hire someone who has experience in negotiations from different walks of life.  I have sold computer products on the streets of New York, in the aisles of Whole Foods and real estate.  This diverse background has given me an understanding that anyone can sell anything as long as they know their competitors’ motivations.  So, look for a real estate agent that understands you as well as the seller and their needs and wants.  If  you need help in negotiating a real estate deal, contact Lanclos Realty, LLC and let us help you.
